Foreword

This website has been in service since 1997. So far we have not received any financial support from any institution or individual. Your presence is the biggest encouragement we can have.  Currently there is very little research done on Alevism and Bektashism. We have two main purposes in preparing this website. First of all, we would like to present accurate information on Alevism and Bektashism to all the Internet users. Second, we would like to bring together all academics, researchers and spiritual guides. We hope to be a reliable online-reference. Our website welcomes contributions from all scholars.
