Ali Yaman (M.A.)

He was born in Ankara in 1968. He is from Hıdır Abdal Ocağı (A very well known Dede family). He finished his High School in İstanbul. In 1993 He finished University of Uludag Department of International Relations. In 1994 He joined Istanbul University Department of International, Political History Master(M.A.) class. And graduated from this department in 1996. His M.A. Thesis was on Anatolian Alevi Dedes, religios and social head of Alevi Society. And also worked as Editor in Chief in CEM magazine. Worked as a member, advisor and researcher in many institutions and foundations established by Alevis. He prepared 365 paged calendars pulished for Alevi Society living in Turkey and European Countries. For the first time he made a bibliographical research on Alevi-Bektaşi resources. With Webmaster Müslüm Güler he prepared an extensive website on his researches, Alevi belief. He is still studying for his Ph.D. thesis on Alevis in Istanbul University. His published books are “Şeyh Bedreddin” and “Kızılbaş Alevi Dedeleri. His research on Alevi-Bektaşi Bibliography will be published by Alevi-Bektaşi Cultural Centre in Bonn.

He was born in Istanbul in 1968. He is from Hıdır Abdal Ocağı (A very well known Dede family). He graduated from Bakırköy Lisesi (High School) Science Department. In 1988 he finished Yıldız University , Business Administration. He worked in DÜNYA newspaper, Advertisement Department. In 1991-1993 he worked in HÜRRİYET newspaper Advertisement Department. In 1993-1994 he worked in EKOL Reklam, as an organizer. After finishing Army duty, woked in MEDİACOM as an organizer. In 1997 worked as an advisor and teacher in teaching dept. in LİMİT Bilgisayar. With Researcher Ali Yaman Dede he prepared a website in internet on Alevi-Bektaşi history, culture, art, and beliefin 1997. Also prepared many websites related with other topics. Hi is now working in ARTGRUP Reklam  as a planner and researcher.
